Three injured as police apprehend youngster


"TWO police officers and a teenager were rushed to hospital after smashing through a shop window during an arrest."

"Police had been investigating reports of fire raising on Saturday night when they moved in to apprehend the youngster."

"The 15-year-old cut his neck during the struggle, while one officer injured his leg and the other an arm. Paramedics and an armed response team rushed to Edinburgh`s Morningside after the incident. A witness has told how he saw one policeman screaming in agony as he was lifted on to a stretcher by medics..."

"An armed response team turned up and police with body armour and guns jumped out, the whole area was taped off..."

"The 15-year-old injured in the incident was last night charged with breach of the peace and obstructing an officer."

That is an incredible response by Police Scotland for a breach of the peace by a 15 year old.
