"One of the things that is being picked up on is, of course, the Trans Agenda," says Brian Gerrish.  "And I`ll just bring in this Express headline which is pretty powerful. `Labour MP stuns Piers Morgan with `insane` comment babies are born `without sex`. `Labour MP Dawn Butler received a furious backlash on Twitter after she claimed ` a child is born without sex` during a heated exchange with Richard Madeley on Good Morning Britain`. - That`s the ITV programme."

"Now notice the backlash occurred on Twitter because that`s obviously where the debate was being carried out. It certainly wasn`t being carried out across the BBC or any of the other mainstream circuits. So we`ve got a good indication here as to why social media is so important and so worriesome to the establishment."

"Let`s have a look at how this pans out.  This is the line that this lady came out with. `A child is born without sex at the beginning... but anyway` ... and then she carries on."

"Now the lady in question is shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities. So this is not just some idle person: this is the person with actual power within the labour party; so anybody in the labour movement is going to come under her influence on this subject and, of course, she has the ability to use the labour platform to push this out into the wider public environment."

"So this was the dialogue that took place with Richard Madeley."

"`Do you think somebody that embraces transgender but nevertheless decides that there is a biological difference based on chromosomes, based on a penis that may not have been removed after surgery, are you saying that person is transphobic? So if you look at the genitalia of an individual and you comment on the person on the basis of that genitalia does that make you transphobic?` Well this is how it went."

"She said: `If you`re saying that a trans woman isn`t a woman then there are issues around that. Talking about penises and vaginas doesn`t help the conversation because what you`re saying then is a trans woman isn`t a woman by your own definition.` Madeley responds: `You`re confusing the question with an opinion. I don`t hold that opinion at all.` She says: `Explain the penis reference that you just referred to`. Madeley says: `Look when a child is born they`re identified and observed in a particular way,` and she then comes out with this classic line `A child is born without sex at the beginning... but anyway.` So really phenomenal stuff."

"She`s got this immense power to put the idea across but we`ve got to ask the question: where does this policy agenda come from? 
This is the key issue: politicians spouting words clearly they havevn`t sat down with a colleague and a cup of tea to think about these issues and come up with their own basic policy drivers. They are regurgitating information that`s come [to] them, So where do we go to find out where the policy is coming from?"

"Well of course we`re not going to be able to go to the BBC. We`re not probably going to be able to get it at the mainstream media. Let`s go back to social media and look at some very serious analysis here by former Daily Telegraph foreign correspondent Francis Harris as he starts to track down the Trans Agenda. We`re really going to encourage people to go to his Twitter page which is at F Harris 2011 and if you search down to the 16th February you can find what I`m about to show you; but, basically, he puts up a very detailed and well researched thread pointing out that the lobbying group Stonewall was once a champion of the gay and bisexual community, but not anymore. It`s now pursuing an extreme and unpopular Trans Agenda. So who`s funding this unrepresentative group and how does its influence spread?"

"And he follows through. As I say this is a whole series of tweets which you really need to see yourself and to read through it in a sequence. He says: `Here`s a link to the most recent Stonewall accounts. This reveals that Stonewall relies on taxpayers for much of its income and that`s not all`."

"So not only does Stonewall take our money to campaign for extreme changes in the law which most women oppose, it encourages the `Diversity Champions` to accept its extreme manifesto. And I was vey pleased here, Mike, to see that this man [was] really very quickly on the trail of change agents - because this is what these divesity champions are. These are people helping to drive change and an agenda and, of course, with sufficient funding and power behind them they become very dangerous individuals."

"So what isn`t really being talked about with Stonewall, well, first thing is who are the people who comprise Stonewall? None of them were elected... the people have chosen themselves and clearly we can assume that they`re going to have similar likes and dislikes but we`re about to show that once they`ve elected themselves to their own organisation - which I`m sure will describe itself, Mike, as `independent` - we can get a feel for who we`re dealing with."

"Now Stonewall`s site, to its credit, does put up pictures of individuals and short CVs but really all that does is start to raise the question - because you`ve got lawyers; you`ve got very poweful marketing and brand managers which would be key if you wanted to change people`s minds on a particular subject; you`ve got everything from somebody in Amnesty International, somebody with the financial conduct authority and more; but we don`t really know who these people are and you have to search elsewhere really to start to get some idea of what you`re dealing with."

"So this is the Marketing Society who`ve done an interview with Chairlady Jan Gooding. Well, I say lady, I`m not sure [if] that`s how she`d identify at the moment. And it`s a very good interview. but this is very interesting. 

 

"Now pehaps the key bit is to say have a look at the bottom here:

`Now our focus is not only on changing the law, but also igniting social change. We`re the government`s preferred schools partner responsible for ensuring that children of primay school age receive relationship education to make schools LGBT inclusive. We also work with both corporate and private companies on how to empower and include LGBT employees. We`re empowering a change in social attitude`."

"So, Mike, we`ve got a group of people who have created their own organisation; they`ve set their own agenda; but these are the people used by the Department for Education to get into schools, including primary schools, to set that agenda. Has the average parent been told that this is how the system works?"

Mike Robinson: "I don`t think so...."

"So the important thing then is to have a look at their funding and I`ve done this in a little bit more detail than Mr Harris did on his Twitter page although he did direct people to the accounts. So this is from the charities` accounts, accounts that Stonewall had to submit."

"And if we have a look through their funding we find this big slug of money straight off from the Department for Education: £233, 673, but also the Foreign and Commonwealth Office: £125,885. So we haven`t sorted out this policy inside UK but it seems that it`s already being exported oveseas by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Mike. Could this be used to get into these Easten European states and start to destabilise their rather traditional community and societal views I wonder? Note that under the Foreign and Commonwealth Office we`ve got Goldman Sachs and, of couse, you`ll see as you go through you`ve got a whole range of interests."

"We don`t really know why they`re donating the money: NHS Scotland, a quick £33,000; the Scottish government, a mere £92,500 ... the Welsh government there, £158,533. And so declared at the bottom, the total ... income for 2018, well over half a million pounds; all for an agenda which has not been fully declared to the public."

"So if we just follow it round: public money, our money, given to Stonewall to create their agenda using the diversity champions and global diversity champions. They also pick another group of change agents because here they are with their trans allies - now these are the non trans people that they`ve recruited, supported, funded, to act as change agents to help drive the trans agenda; and, as Mr Harris pointed out, it`s phenomenal the breadth, the penetration these people have got into a number of organisations. I`ve  added the military in there. The rest of them were listed on the... social media site... etc."

"Of course the target is our young children. But we`re going to ask the question: when did the wider public agree to any of this?

Coronavirus: where is the hype leading?

Brian Gerrish says: "Well we`re lucky to be here because coronavirus is getting ever more deadly in the UK. Let`s have a look at the Guardian headline... `Coronavirus: number of confirmed UK cases rises from four to eight,` and if you go into the article it actually says that it`s doubled. So it`s got the reinforcement: it has doubled from four to eight as the government announced new powers to detain people suspected of having the virus. And this is the key point of UK Column reporting this: we`ve got alarmist reports across the whole of the UK press but now we`re seeing something very, very sinister coming in which is on the back of that alarmist reporting. The government is seizing more powers, placing basic freedoms of the public at risk."

"Well this is the man behind it, Matt Hancock, `Under the measures announced on Monday, the Department of Health said people with coronavirus could now be forcibly detained and sent to isolation if public health professionals believe there is a reasonable risk an individual may have the virus..."

"So this is the hype around the virus, not around what the real facts are, but you can now be picked up and detained. `The incidence or transmission of novel coronavirus constitutes a` serious and imminent threat to pulic health. So I`m taking action to protect the public and isolate those at risk of spreading the virus. Clinical advice has not changed about the risk to the public, which remains moderate`."

"So it hasn`t changed; it remains moderate, but basically we are going to start detaining people against their will. But interesting to see this man, Matt Hancock, tweeting out: `Clinical advice has not changed about the risk to the public, which remains moderate`. So on the one hand we`re saying it`s serious and an imminent threat and on the other hand he`s clearly saying that it`s a moderate risk to the public. So lots of confusion here as to what`s going on and where this is leading us?"

"Well if you go and have a look at Public Health England it gets even more confusing. It says four patients in England have tested positive, so Public Health England doesn`t even know how many cases there are, as of the present time. `If more cases are confirmed in the UK it will be announced as soon as possible by the Chief Medical Officer of the affected country`, which I found quite interesting."

Mike Robinson: "Yes because we`ve got four countries in the Union now. We`ve got four Chief Medical Officers."

"Well that`s good, and then it says, `Based on the World Health Organisation`s declaration that this is a public health emergency of international concern, the UK Chief Medical Officers have raised the risk to the public from low to moderate. This permits the government to plan for all eventualities. The risk to individuals remains low.` "

"So we are not driving this as a nation. We are now simply cowtowing to the World Health Organisation and what we`re seeing is still alarmist reporting on what`s actually happening..."

"It comes as the Health Secretary Matt Hancock said in September he was `looking very seriously` at making vaccinations compulsory for state school pupils after the UK lost its official measles-free country status due to a steady fall in MMR immunisation rates."

It looks like `all eventualities` might one day lead to `detained and forcibly vaccinated.` No resistance allowed.

Free speech for some

Brian Gerrish informed viewers that he was going to be taking a swipe at the BBC. He began by saying: "I couldn`t help but notice `Election explained, What to check for on climate change`. So that`s second from the left on the top of your screen there. If you clicked on that image up came this, which to my mind is a children`s image. Everything about it is probably attractive to two, three, four year old children, but this is now for adults in UK."

"Meanwhile, as the UK Column covers some of the most dangerous stuff going on, this is the childish dross from the BBC`. I have to use that word again, Mike ... "

"But serious things here: the BBC crowing that a High Court judge has ruled in favour of permanently banning protests outside the Birmingham school where parents were complaining that their children were actually being sexualised at too young an age."

"Now what did the BBC do? Of course it ran this story in a completely biased way, that any parent complaining of the content of the sex education, was actually homophobic, and as a result, I believe,... we`ve now seen the school successfully go to court for the protests to be banned."

"And, of course, if these protests can be banned, ... any protest anywhere in UK can now be banned by the High Court."

"Except for Extinction Rebellion," Mike Robinson reminded Brian Gerrish.

"Well I`m going to come on to that in a minute, Mike. But just have a look at the sort of thing the BBC put out. There`s a big focus here on West Midlands Mayor, Andy Street. He said the protests are clearly homophobic, against LGBT teaching at the primary school and it`s got to stop. Well, of course, that`s not the case. The parents, who were Christian, Muslim and indeed Jewish, were protesting that their children were being overtly sexualised at too young an age which is something completely different."

"But if you`re not aware of the definition we now have for homophobia here it is: `it`s fear, hatred, discomfort with, or mistrust of people who are lesbian, gay or bisexual... `That definition has absolutely nothing to do with the actual protest by the parents. So the BBC can be very proud because, essentially, they have now helped the British State take a major step in silencing free speech. And, of course, the other thing this relates to is the fact that the State wants to claim it is the parent of your child, or your children."

Mike Robinson: "Absolutely. But if you`re running a school and there`s a potential for protest, you don`t need to worry because there`s some really excellent advice available from the Department for Education ...I`m being somewhat sarcastic when I use the word `excellent`."

Brian Gerrish continued: "Let`s have a look to see what Gov.uk is saying: ... "

"Primary school disruption over LGBT teaching/relationships education. And they`re saying that `relationships education will be compulsory for all primary school aged pupils from September 2020. In addition relationships and sex education will be compulsory for all secondary pupils and health education will be compulsory for all pupils. They`re saying that some organisations are  opposed to the introduction of these subjects, or to some of the expected content set out in the statutory guidance for the subjects, and have been campaigning nationally against the subjects and organising locally to encourage parents to influence their schools’ teaching. The majority of the objections relate to the teaching of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) content, particularly in primary schools."

"And then we come on to point 3 which is all about intelligence sharing and support available. And they say: `It is important that you pass on intel to DfE about disquiet in your local area and signs that this might be building towards disruptive activity. DfE can better support local authorities if there is a real time picture of issues in local areas and patterns of activities... You should seek further support from DfE making clear you are asking for support, not just passing on intel (as above) and an official will be in touch quickly to discuss options.`,.."

"And so the language here building is quite spectacular and your point earlier, which is...`military`."

Brian Gerrish agreed, "It is military language. There is no question that this is military language. Possibly you`re going to pick it up with specialist police teams as well. But I wonder whether we`ve got a hint of, not only the Metropolitan Police in there, but also the 77th Brigade." 

Brian Gerrish then contrasted the immense overreaction at the Birmingham school with what the Department for Education`s Countering Extremism team did when UK Column provided them with evidence of extremism on 9th October 2019.  They had provided evidence that  Extinction Rebellion was not only carrying out criminal activity, it was recruiting school age children, using school premises to train them for that criminal activity.

"We`ve had back from them absolute silence ... So we provided documents for Extinction Rebellion where they were calling for people to break the law; we provided documents showing Extinction Rebellion training the people in primary schools ... and using those Department for Education facilities. We`ve provided BBC documentation where the BBC was saying it was concerned; and we`ve provided the excellent analysis by a former head of SO15, the counter terrorism force within the MET. And the result from the Department for Education was silence."

"So we can call up all these systems to suppress parents who dare challenge what their children are being taught in school; but if you give the Department for Education ... factual evidence of criminal activity by Extinction Rebellion, they don`t want to know."

"What does that suggest?"

"It suggests that Extinction Rebellion represents government policy."

"Indeed."

Assange court appearance

Craig Murray blogs about the recent court appearance of Julian Assange who is showing signs of psychological deterioration:

"The effort then seemed to become too much, his voice dropped and he became increasingly confused and incoherent. He spoke of whistleblowers and publishers being labeled enemies of the people, then spoke about his children’s DNA being stolen and of being spied on in his meetings with his psychologist. I am not suggesting at all that Julian was wrong about these points, but he could not properly frame nor articulate them. He was plainly not himself, very ill and it was just horribly painful to watch. Baraitser showed neither sympathy nor the least concern. She tartly observed that if he could not understand what had happened, his lawyers could explain it to him, and she swept out of court."

AI technology for shocking online child abuse

Mike Robinson: "Now yesterday we mentioned Sajid Javid making it his personal mission to deal with child sexual exploitation online; and I suggested that, perhaps, there was a bit more to this than meets the eye; because let`s face it, the British government for many many years of many political hues hasn`t exactly felt that this was a subject that they particularly needed to deal with."

 

"So they`re going to keep children safe online and as we made the point yesterday Sajid Javid said that he was absolutely shocked...at the scale of the potential for abuse of children online; and so he had said that all technology companies had to step up their efforts to tackle online sexual exploitation; and that was the result of this figure of 80,000 people in the UK presenting some kind of sexual threat to children online; and a 700% increase in child images being referred to the National Crime Agency."

"But he said that while he was pleased at the efforts of online platforms to tackle online extremism following the government`s calls for them to do that a couple of years ago.... really they needed to do something about this issue as well. Well, as I say, you know, this seemed very fishy to me because government has done absolutely nothing in this area in the past. But we don`t need to worry because ... at the same time Sajid Javid is making this statement and saying that the social media companies and the big online companies needed to do something about this, well, Google just had a press release ready to go - just a pure coincidence Brian. It wasn`t staged in any shape or form; they just had it ready to go, this announcement, which took place about the same time Savid Javid was making his."

"And they`re saying that they are going to use AI to help organisations detect and report child sexual abuse material online. So this is a new free tool that they`re offering to service providers, NGOs and other technology companies which is going to be able to review content at scale and use deep neural networks for image processing. They can now assist reviewers sorting through many images by prioritising those that are the most likely to contain child sexual abuse material... So that`s good."

"So Javid had said that he wanted technology companies to stop child grooming taking place on their platforms. He said he wanted them to work with government and law enforcement to shut down live-streaming child abuse. He wanted companies to be much more forward leaning to help law enforcement agencies to deal with these types of crimes; and he said that he wanted them to show a greater level of openness and transparency and a willingness to share best practice and technology between companies. So if you were taking this problem seriously those suggestions are probably quite useful; but I maintain a healthy scepticism."

"Now the other item that he mentioned on his list was this: that he expected ... technology companies to block child sexual abuse material as soon as companies detect it being uploaded. And this one stuck out for me because ... this is identical  to the EU`s copy directive."

"Article 11 of that failed to pass in July which was all about the ability for technology companies to scan content as it`s being uploaded to their platforms and automatically censor content that they didn`t feel was appropriate. Now, of course, I am by no means suggesting that child sexual abuse material is appropriate to upload but of course this is ... about implementing, or finding an excuse to implement, certain types of technologies. I just reiterate the point that at no point in the last 30 years has the British government done anything to deal with this issue and suddenly now we`re dealing with it by implementing policies and implementing technologies which aren`t going to make a huge amount of difference to the people who are perpetrating these crimes but are going to make a huge amount of difference to us; because what this means is that all material being uploaded to these platforms is being scanned... under the cover of being scanned for the purposes of identifying this material."

"What else is going on today?"

"Well Cressida Dick the police commissioner for the Metropolitan Police said: `Vital evidence in criminal investigations held by tech and social media firms should be made available in minutes.`"

 

"So, in other words, what we`re building here - under the - this is a pretty cynical effort I think by Sajid Javid - to build a police state using child abuse ..."

Brian Gerrish: "As a way of levering in the censorship."

Mike Robinson: "Absolutely. And I`ll just say once again the British government has done nothing on this issue, and you know, I have to say I`m staggered that the various police authorities are able to offer any statistics on this:  Suddenly we`ve got this big statistic of 80,000 people and a 700% increase; because one thing we`ve been flagging up over the last number of years is how statistics with respect to child abuse and children in care and so on, these statistics are impossible to find because they`re not held...So how they magicked these up for this purpose is another question I`d like an answer to."

Brian Gerrish. "Very interesting. Well if we might pop the lovely Cressida Dick back on the screen there Mike I read this. It makes me wince: ...`Vital evidence in criminal investigations held by tech and social media firms should be made available in minutes`. "

"For what? Because, Ms Dick, when one of your own policemen, John Wedger, came forward with his evidence ... that the abuse of children...children dying, was being covered up by the Met police, by MPs, by local authorities and charities, your force did absolutely nothing with that evidence. In fact, they attacked John Wedger: bullied him, threatened him, put him on half pay, stopped his pay. So this was all on the watch of Cressida Dick and yet she`s now standing up to threaten internet companies that you better produce this information. Presumably she wants the information to help close it down, as was done with John Wedger. "

Censorship and cover-up

"The UK conservative government is now clearly operating beyond authority. We have a cabal running the country. Even backbencher MPs have no idea what`s happening in Westminster. So it`s simply the members of the Cabinet Office and the secretive P... Office. which is dealing with the global corporations and international banks with connections through to the Privy Council and this is all secret, certainly to other members of parliament but also to the public. So we have a cabal, many people would say a criminal cabal, running the country. Let`s remember that the fuel for UK politics is the abuse of children."

 

"Just an amazing headline here from the Daily Mail a few days ago. Forget the bit about the The `drink sodden world` of EU boss sneering at Britain, what we`re really looking at is the main headline. `What a cosy cover-up!`"

"And basically this was pointing out that MPs have voted for anonymity if they`re accused of sexual harassment and if there`s any hint of expenses fraud. And what the Daily Mail article pointed out was that minutes after this vote was taken a list of politicians under investigation vanished from Parliament`s website."

"Now I find this particularly interesting because a few weeks ago we actually made contact with the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner`s office to ask some questions about Mr Keith Vaz , but on that particular day back in June - I think it was the 22nd June - what we established was that this lady....Kathryn Hudson was going to step down as the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner and we were intrigued to see that she was going to be replaced by a new lady. This is Kathryn Stone; and her background is looking after children with special needs before becoming a qualified child protection social worker and mental health expert."

"And this just seemed a fascinating qualification to then move over to be Parliamentary Standards Commissioner. It just seems a little bit too interesting."
 

Keith Vaz

 

"Well at the time ... 22 June, we had a look at the Parliamentary Standards web page and one of the things we could see here was `under Investigation by the Commissioner`. We were interested in Mr Vaz; and apparently the Vaz inquiry is confidential. That`s what we were told. No information can be disclosed to the public in the interests of fairness. That is clearly fair to Mr Vaz. I don`t think it`s particularly fair to the public but of course the public doesn`t count. We were told that no comment could be made on whether the video of Mr Vaz forms the base of evidence. This is the video which appeared to show him in a room with some rent boys and there was a discussion of drugs. The inquiry, even though there`s video evidence, could take years."

Mike Robinson: "Was there any explanation as to why."

"No, except I have to say the lady I spoke to was unbelievably nervous as I asked some fairly reasonable and gentle questions. She did say that Mr Vaz had not been suspended and she was also happy to say the first police investigation had been dropped."

"But the important thing here is that even going to the government website I was able to find some information because I knew that something was going on. But now enter 2018. So there was that web page. It`s been replaced by this web page. And what`s significant? Well we have the same designator ... Sorry we`ve got `Complaints and Investigations` but on the original screen on the left we have names on the screen. On the right we just have the Complaints process. So all these names disappear and they`ve been whitewashed out Mike. And the other thing is the Current Inquiries bar has also disappeared from the government`s website. So the MPs clearly circling the wagons now to defend themselves when people come forward with allegations of sexual harassment or expenses fraud."  

 
"Well Mr Vaz seems to be doing OK because the probe, not investigation - it`s called a probe now, whatever that means - has already lasted two years and nobody knows when this is going to be completed. Now if we remind ourselves what happened: he stood down as Chairman of the Commons Home Affairs Select Committee, looking at matters to do with vice after the Sunday Mirror reported he had discussed buying cocaine with a rent boy (male prostitute). So the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner launched a probe into whether he was guilty of a conflict of interest because he had been leading a review of vice laws at the same time as the allegations. So that`s a very difficult thing for them to establish Mike, even with a video. So years have gone by and we`ve still not got any result but now the whole thing has become totally secret." 

"Something that was quite interesting was that the UK Column had a report, and I would say from a source that we would say was reliable, and in that report it was alleged that one or both of the rent boys who were apparently present at the incident with Mr Vaz were attacked and badly beaten in Poland by persons as yet unknown."

"So that`s the allegation that those rent boys were attacked and beaten very badly in Poland but there isn`t any evidence at the moment who did it. That`s what we are being told. We`ll see whether we get more reports on that."

"So here we are, a report in the Sun: police drop initial investigation, into the Leicester East MP 18 months ago and the new Standards Commissioner Kathryn Stone has told MPs she is referring the case back to the Met. But at the same time they`re apparently also looking into the fact people are not too sure where all his money is coming from."

"And that brings us nicely to the so-called independent child abuse inquiry because in the last few days it`s emerged that Prince Charles`s lawyers have been arguing with the inquiry`s legal team over the manner in which he produces evidence in relation to Bishop Ball who was imprisoned as a result of sexual abuse. So we`re not going to find out really what Prince Charles has got to say but interestingly enough one of the lawyers working for survivors said this: `We wish to register our surprise and concern that the Prince has chosen to put his evidence to the inquiry in the form of a letter as opposed to a witness statement verified by a statement of truth in the normal way that survivors giving evidence to this inquiry have done`. So one rule for the survivors. Totally different one for Prince Charles. And he goes on to say: `Concerns around Charles`s letter include that it may be `less than entirely frank about his personal relationship with Peter Ball and that it contains matters to which he is reluctant to attach a formal statement of truth`. And this lawyer, Richard Scorer, also retweeted this little report by a lady called Linda Woodhead. She said: `IICSA today on the Peter Ball scandal hears of the extraordinary lengths to which Prince Charles`s lawyers went to wiggle out of complying with IICSA`s request that the Prince give a witness statement to the inquiry like everyone else. Even invoking European convention on Human Rights`."

"So obviously Prince Charles desperate that he does not have to give evidence in the same way that survivors or members of the public would. Why would he be so shy?"

"Well this tweet was sent through to me. And I`ve got to say I think the gentleman`s comments fit. So it`s a Brian P Willmot and he says  `Any person who is Not prepared to stand and tell the Truth has something to hide` and it certainly seems that this is the case on this one Mike."

"And perhaps this leads us nicely into Melanie Shaw. And let`s remind ourselves that Melanie Shaw`s local MP is a gentleman called Chris Leslie. Several people contacted me to point out that here was Mr Leslie getting very excited about the standards in prison. So we`re going back to January here, but he said: `Shocking `urgent notification` from Chief Inspector into `fundamentally unsafe` Nottingham Prison, echoing concerns I raised in Commons debate last year: eight suicides recently; 200 assaults in past 6 months; 30% positive for drugs. New Lord Chancellor David Gauke must act now`. But remarkable that this gentleman Mike doesn`t want to act for Melanie Shaw who`s been brutalised by these very failings in other prisons."

Mike Robinson: "And he was even her employer at one point."

"Yes he was her employer at one point and there is a photograph ... where he`s sat next to her on a sofa holding her hand to show his level of support for child abuse victims. But it appears like many MPs Chris Leslie is duplicitous when it comes to actions to protect Melanie Shaw."

I have contacted you, as have many others over the years, about the disgraceful ongoing plight of your constituent Melanie Shaw.

I do not propose to go through the details of this case, as I feel confident that you have been fully informed about the state`s unrelenting persecution of this poor, defenceless and acknowledged victim of multiple sexual abuse, committed whilst in the supposed `care` of the Nottinghamshire authorities. Indeed, one local authority employee, Andris Logins, has been convicted of  multiple rapes committed at the very care home in which Melanie was placed and sentenced to 20 years imprisonment. His wife, Helen Logins, another Nottingham council social worker, has also been convicted for aiding and abetting her husband.

I and others have been in regular contact with Amnesty International as the evidence suggests that Melanie, during her controversial imprisonment has been the victim of torture, administered by the UK state. The case is, I am told being currently considered by that international organisation...

We now know, due to recent revelations, that the British government is perfectly capable, not only of being complicit in torture, but also even prepared to publicly lie about it, as demonstrated by the misconduct of Jack Straw. At least one excuse, weak though it is, was that such torture was used on suspected foreign terrorists operating outside the United Kingdom.

Melanie Shaw, on the other hand, is a Nottingham woman and UK national who has apparently been tortured in British prisons because of the evidence she is prepared to put before the IICSA, in providing details of serious crimes committed at Beechwood Home that may implicate high-ranking public individuals, including, I understand, a person formerly a colleague of the current Prime Minister.

As Melanie is clearly an absolutely crucial, high-profile witness in the IICSA investigation into widescale child sexual abuse in the Nottingham area, I found it shocking that the inquiry has not already interviewed her, regardless of the incarceration that can only be explained rationally as a means of silencing her.

I have therefore sent key details to the IICSA`s current head, Professor Alexis Jay and her deputy, Liz Long, has written to me to confirm that these details have indeed been read by Professor Jay. There can now be no further excuse for the failure to interview Melanie.

And he ends by saying,  As her elected parliamentary representative, what are you going to do about it?

"Well if we remind ourselves that IICSA itself still refuses to take evidence from Melanie Shaw or even communicate with her, despite the fact that Melanie has said publicly she wants to speak to the inquiry, despite the fact that contact has been made with the inquiry on her behalf, including, it`s alleged, by Mr Chris Leslie himself, IICSA says `can`t act unless Melanie calls us` but of course Melanie can`t call them because she`s denied phone calls in prison."

"And we`ll finish the section by reminding people, of course, of the untimely haste with which Beechwood Children`s Home was sold off and demolished after Nottingham police fail to carry out a full and proper forensic investigation and, more recently, UK Column has informed people that reports about Beechwood have been pulled from mainstream media sites and the BBC as a result of collaboration between Nottingham City & County Council and Nottingham police."

Well I did a little bit of an investigation and I find by an amazing coincidence they`re all linked to NSPCC and in their own report of course they`ve then used a lot of NSPCC information saying how NSPCC is apparently stopping the abuse of children. Mike Robinson: "And there`s no possibility that the NSPCC could ... be criticised by the independent public inquiry if the independent inquiry was doing their job properly."

Brian Gerrish laughs. "eh Yes And we remember that it was NSPCC that was first of all taking phone calls and there was such outrage amongst the abuse survivors and others that they had to drop the contract."

"Right. So they were running the call centre for the independent inquiry at the beginning and whereas many of the survivors were saying, `well hold on`, the NSPCC was involved in the abuse, or at least helped cover it up in the past; so what are they doing taking phone calls off of us?"

"Yes. ... Well this is what independence is about Mike. But it gets better because I did a little bit of research before the news today on IICSA`s site and here we`ve got their own documentation showing that in Rochdale going back into 1974 - 1989 we`ve got NSPCC taking over child protection from the local authorities. So seemingly here NSPCC must be implicated in the very failings that the independent inquiry is now asking an NSPCC experienced team to report on."

"And then the letter says well `I am therefore asking you, if you will tell me why the material has been denied and why you have made this decision`. Now for an MP to do this, that`s a lot of weight behind Robert Green`s original request..."

It says that `I understand that the aforementioned constituent has been in recent communication with your office in order to secure the transcript of a case in which he himself was involved. I understand that Mr Green has subsequently been provided with a transcript as per his request. However, Mr Green has advised that the transcript is incomplete and that a section of the proceedings which he feels particularly significant to his case has been excluded from the text and so Mr Green is asking for that to be provided - and they are being asked why this has been excluded."

"This is the key tape from one of the court cases that Robert Green went through. So the Procurator Fiscal in Scotland is now being asked to provide the tape which Robert Green has been attempting to get and we say again this is really marvellous to see an MP standing up to be counted and now asking himself."

FAKE NEWS experts want to guide us ... as if we don`t already know

Now here come the FAKE NEWS experts:

"After Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election, the BBC ran a quiz asking readers to distinguish fake news stories from real ones. [The BBC, no less, the biggest propagandists on the planet.]

They asked, for example, which of these widely reported stories was an actual event:
(1) Putin issues international arrest warrant for George Soros (2) Black Lives Matter thug protests President Trump with selfie…accidentally shoots himself in the face. (3) Passenger allowed on to flight after security confiscate his bomb If you can’t pick the correct answer, that’s because it’s virtually impossible to differentiate true headlines from false. They all look equally implausible, but then headlines are meant to grab attention by highlighting the striking or unusual (answer 3 is the real one, if you’re interested)...

I`m interested in who says number 3 is the truth and who says number 1 and number 2 is NOT the truth. I certainly am not going to believe an article like this now am I?  -  nor should I -   if I have my critical faculties intact.  I`m sorry, you`re fighting a losing battle here.

But there`s more:

Much of the debate has centred on how the technology itself needs to be refined to combat this problem. But blaming technology alone implies a rather credulous population with little knowledge of how media works and liable to believe anything they’re told.

The ability to make informed decisions isn’t dependent solely on the information one is fed, but on evaluating that information, understanding its provenance, and appreciating that its mediation influences its nature...

At a time when universities are struggling to justify their position, the heightened need for critical literacy skills in tackling fake news and media manipulation highlights the central role that higher education can play for society as a whole.

Technology baloney !

I`m sorry Ms Higher Education you`ve missed the boat completely. People have always lived in their own bubbles surrounded by like-minded bubblers and don`t need advice from you. They have always talked to each other about the news and got their information from each other as well as official sources. They have also criticised those sources but not much of that got into the mainstream. Really the only difference with Facebook is that it happens faster and criticisms of the mainstream media cannot be contained.

Now that commentary on the news can happen as fast as official news sources themselves, the mainstream is struggling to TELL US WHAT TO THINK.
