"The Australian government has launched an investigation into a youth detention centre where teenagers were filmed being assaulted, tear gassed and forcibly stripped --- by laughing prison guards. Footage obtained by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Four Corners programme showed a 14-year-old boy being hooded and strapped to a chair for almost two hours as part of treatment that could amount to torture according to the UN."
