BBC Radio Scotland: the `named person` judgement

Lesley Scott of TYMES Trust (a supporter of NO2NP) and Tam Baillie, Scotland’s Commissioner for Children and Young People, discuss the `named person` scheme and Judge Lord Pentland’s judgment.

There is still no guidance on how the `named person` scheme should be implemented - including guidelines for sharing data -and how disputes between parents and `named persons` are to be resolved.` This is quite shocking given the scheme has already been rolled out in several areas.

As for health visitors, it is not true that everybody is happy with health visiting these days because it is now dominated by surveillance rather than support.
