"POLICE are targeting hundreds of children under the age of five – to stop them turning to a life of crime.
Staffordshire Police are teaming up with councils to attempt to transform the lives of the vulnerable children before they start school.
The crackdown will initially target more than 400 pre-school children who are known to the authorities."
